Dear Daddy,
You are the best. No really…the cream of the crop. And you are all mine!
You always tell me how lucky you are to have me as your little girl — well, I am so lucky to have you as my Daddy!
From the moment I was even just a thought, I became the most important focus of your life.
You were so excited the day I was born, wouldn't leave my side, beamed with pride.
You were the first person to change my diaper (and you did a pretty good job, too).
And remember my first few months of life, after Mommy fed me in the middle of the night? You were always the one to change my diaper, burp me, and bounce me back to sleep (remember how many full moons we saw together?).
I love how you take care of me with so much gentleness and dedication.
I love that you get me up and dressed every morning, always greeting me with enthusiasm and a big smile — no matter how tired you are.
I love that you put me to bed at night and all the games you've created around bedtime.
You make anything an adventure and everything so much fun.
I love when you do your animal sounds and we look for tigers in my closet.
I love when you read to me and when you make up stories with me in them.
I love our Daddy Saturdays — our walk, our breakfast together, and picking out new Dr. Seuss books at the book store — just you and me.
You always make me squeal with delight when you twirl me around, fall with me, and surprise me with dips.
I love that you always think of new things to try and new games to play.
I love our tickle-fest when you kiss my feet, my tummy, my neck and I keep telling you, “more, more, more.”
I love dancing on your shoulder, snuggled up, watching the world in the safety of your arms.
You are my biggest cheerleader — still beaming with pride.
And when I remember all that we have done together, all the fun we have had, all that you have helped guide
me through, and all that we have learned together — I am proud of my Daddy, too.
What I love about you Daddy is how much you love me, how much you listen to me, and pay attention to who I am and what I need.
