Possible Solution to the EASyS Stroller Storage Shortfall

Like us, many SMA families use the EASyS wheelchair stroller from ExoMotion to get out and about. Given what we take out with us we haven't found space on the stroller to be a problem, but we've heard several other families have had issues with the limited storage space in the tray underneath the stroller. The stroller definitely has enough room for a Bi-Pap, Bi-Pap battery, ambu bag, suction, small emergency oxygen canister, and feeding pump, but it won't accommodate the Cough Assist machine, sealed gel-cell battery, and inverter that many families carry with them.

BL at ExoMotion may have found a solution: the Buggy Board Maxi by Lascal. The picture below is of the A- EASyS chassis with the Buggy Board Maxi attached.

While the Buggy Board Maxi is typically made to allow toddlers to stand-up behind strollers, it can also be attached to the EASyS stroller to accommodate the machines mentioned above that the EASyS tray will not. We haven't tried it and can't give any assurance on durability or ease of use, but it looks like it has the potential to close the gap on the shortfalls that many families have found with the EASyS stroller.

It's on Amazon for $85. Click here for listing.

I hope this helps and thanks BL for the suggestion! Let us know if you have any experience with the Buggy Board Maxi on the EASyS or have any other suggestions on how to expand the EASyS storage capability for machines.
