Where On The Road Is Gwendolyn?

“The Big Easy” (although she's looking a bit zoned out in this picture)!!! We are enjoying the one-of-a-kind city of New Orleans, Louisiana, a place we've always wanted to experience together.

This morning we got out for some breakfast in the French Quarter, had a cafe au lait at the famous Cafe Du Monde, and took a quick walk through the streets of the French Quarter before getting rained out for the rest of the afternoon. Rain and life-critical machines are not a good combination. Not to worry, in between downpours we dodged in and out of walkways and underneath those beautiful French Quarter balcony overhangs and made an unscheduled and prolonged stop – including catching part of a relatively interesting and well done short video on the history of New Orleans – at Basin St. Station Visitor Center. When it seemed like the coast was clear, we made a final dash back to the RV and made it just in the nick of time, relatively unscathed. Needless to say we'll be spending the rest of the day relaxing and catching up on some much needed rest…
