More good news. Gwendolyn graduated from the ICU to normal pediatrics and is continuing to show slight signs of mobility in all of her limbs – a great, great sign. She did a small test bottle feeding for the speech therapist this morning and the therapist was very encouraged by her ability to control her own swallow. The speech therapist is very important as once we get the results of the botulism test confirming that it is in fact botulism she is ultimately the one that will make the call on when we can go home. We're expecting the test, the method of which is a whole side story, to come back sometime later this week and still hoping that it will only be a necessary formality to confirm what the doctors already suspect. We'll continue to update you all but want each and every one of you to know how much all of your support has meant to us through all of this. We're not out of the woods yet but things are definitely looking much brighter.
Lots of love,
Bill and Victoria
