Good news — we are going home from the hospital tomorrow, Christmas Eve. Gwendolyn is doing really well, with new small movements every day. She is now pointing her toes again and smiling and babbling away at the many nurses and friends she has made at the hospital. We will have physical, occupational, and speech therapy at home for several weeks and will continue to check in with her pediatrician and the pediatric neurologist frequently. We are still waiting on the botulism test results from the government to confirm the diagnosis but the neurologist is confident that her continued improvement is a good indication that the infant botulism antidote has worked its miracle. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.
With love,
Bill and Victoria
