We've posted about our friends Mike, Sarah, and their darling daughter, Reese, several times before. They are a Santa Barbara couple we met when both our daughters were just weeks old. They have become very dear friends and have been extremely supportive of us through every step of our journey with Gwendolyn's SMA.
Besides being a truly dedicated husband and father that I admire, Mike is an amazingly motivated, ambitious, competitive, athletic individual with an unbelievable amount of energy and drive. He has been training for the Ironman Arizona that will take place in November 2009. Yes, the Ironman: 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run. And, yes, all three of those occur on the same day
