Hi All:
We just wanted to let everyone know that Gwendolyn's MIC-key button g-tube (feeding tube) surgery went extremely smoothly yesterday. Her recovery from surgery has progressed much more quickly than the doctors had anticipated and she is already out of the ICU, off of the ventilator, and feeding through her new g-tube. Her constant bright smiling face and unbelievable strength through everything she has endured is amazing and inspiring to say the least.
If Gwendolyn's recovery continues on this path we hope to be home sometime next week.
