I know this is random, but this has really helped us. This video monitor, the BebeSounds TV984, has been great for our situation. Since we have to watch Gwendolyn 24/7 for suctioning, etc., at bedtime we used to put her to bed next to us on the couch so we could watch her and then move her into her bedroom when the night nurse arrived. We didn't feel she was able to get good sleep while next to us, but we were nervous about putting her down in her room without being able to watch her. We did some research on video monitors and found that most of them have very small screens and we didn't feel we'd be able to really see her facial expressions or read or hear her pulsox machine. many of the positive reviews were by families in similar situations to ours. It has been great! We can now put Gwendolyn to bed in her room and keep a constant eye on her. She's definitely getting much better, less interrupted sleep. Although she is very suspicious of the camera
