Are you ready for some football? Come on out Saturday, September 24th at 5:30 to support the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation and cheer on Miss G as she becomes the Honorary Vaquero Captain.
We are very excited and honored to have been selected as one of five charities the Santa Barbara City College Football Program is highlighting during their season. In it's inaugural year, the Honorary Vaquero Captain Program is a community outreach effort designed to highlight unique contributors to our local community.
The Strong Family has shown an intense spirit for life as they face a daily battle with SMA. The SBCC Football Program is honored to have the Strong Family become a part of the Vaquero Family . . . and hope to share the strength, courage and spirit that they have exemplified throughout their life as a family living with SMA.
GSF will be hosting a booth during the game to educate about SMA and Gwendolyn will get to throw out the game starting coin toss. Come on out, bring the family, stop by to say hello, and watch Miss G become an Honorary Vaquero Captain. Hope to see you there.
