Santa Fe is beautiful and definitely a place we'd like to return. It is much bigger than Sedona and we barely scratched the surface of this interesting and artistic town. There are dozens of museums, galleries at every glance, music to be enjoyed, history to be learned, and delicious food to be sampled! We spent the afternoon meandering through the historic Plaza, taking in the adobe architecture, and browsing the silver and turquoise wares on display by local Native Americans. Gwendolyn was quickly rocked to sleep by the bumpy road and we recognized this as the perfect opportunity to explore the Georgia O'Keefe museum, which was at the top of my list of places to visit. I've always found Ms. O'Keefe fascinating — an adventurer who transformed modern art in America and lived by her own set of standards, not those set for her by the time. After the museum, we headed to try Santa Fe's famous blue tortillas and red chili at The Shed. Gwendolyn thoroughly entertained herself holding a blue chip and her Minnie Mouse and listening to a woman playing the guitar, only squawking when the woman dared take a break. (Thank you very much guitar lady for allowing us to enjoy our delicious meal.) We had hoped to explore one of the historic churches, but by this point it was pretty hot for Gwendolyn and she sounded like she needed a treatment, so we headed home. She seems much better by the way and we think it may have been a faulty machine reading because her O2 is back to normal now.

We are now off to Texas — Yeehaw!!!
