Ava is an adorable long-haired sassy sweetheart. She has a big personality and she loves her Aunt Anna. And who can blame her — Ava's Aunt Anna is awesome! Anna contacted us back in June wanting to participate in the “$200K for SMA” campaign. Anna has been a big supporter of all the different contest and SMA promotions on Facebook, but she just knew she needed to do something more to fight alongside her sweet feisty niece. Anna decided to turn a hobby making accessories into research dollars. She soon began selling her darling rings, clips, and bows to friends and family and even set up an Etsy shop to reach even further. For months now, she's been quietly crafting and selling and making a difference. She has even hosted a booth at a bake sale and at the Seven Acre Wood Craft Show, where she also passed out flyers, talked about SMA and helped teach new people about this deadly disease. And with 80% of each sale going to SMA research, Aunt Anna's whimsical designs are pushing research forward. Aunt Anna has now donated almost $400 to gene therapy! Be sure to check out her darling button rings and felt clips in her Etsy Shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/SMAaunt. She sells out quickly, so message her if you have a specific item in mind. Way to go Anna! And thank you for being part of changing SMA's future!!!
