Music Class Update

I have been meaning to update about the music class for several weeks now. Although the first class was difficult, I realize now it was more about me grieving for a vision I had yet to let go of, an idea of what being a mother would entail. We are now on our forth week and it is absolutely the week's highlight, for both Gwendolyn and me. Gwendolyn shivers with excitement when I ask her if she is ready for music class. And once we get there, she enjoys every single second and I do, too. The teachers are wonderful about including Gwendolyn in as many ways as possible and she is always eager to participate. And now that I know the routine, I can anticipate when to take Gwendolyn off BiPAP and out of her stroller…and she loves that. She can't manage the entire class off BiPAP, but we are now jumping, dancing, and spinning together with Gwendolyn in my arms. And they even have a photographer who captured the below pictures. Thank you all for your support following my last post — it helped knowing I was not judged for my honesty.
