…the TeePee Motel & RV Park in Wharton, Texas! When we called yesterday to make reservations, the woman laughed and said, “You don't need a reservation. We've got plenty of spots, just pull on in.” You mean Wharton isn't a hot spot? Well, the TeePee Motel should be! Although we are resting our heads in the RV tonight, the concrete teepees are actually pretty cute…in a 1940s retro way. And they got us doing our rendition of a powwow chant and dance — which was pretty mediocre after 7 hours of driving, but Gwendolyn found it all highly amusing!
