We love it! This weekend Lauren (aka Team Run 4 Owen Queen) and Stephen (aka 100 Miles 4 Owen Madman) are meeting in the Bronx to join forces and kick some serious SMA butt. And…Stephen's extremely awesome girlfriend, Magda, is bringing her SMA Go Gettem' shoes, too.
Lauren and Stephen both run for Owen, but these are two different angels stolen far too soon by this monster disease: Owen Shuler and Owen Simmons — two beautiful little boys who should be running and playing. So, Lauren, Stephen and Magda are running the Bronx Half Marathon in memory of these two special Owens — together, united, to END SMA!
These three are destined to know one another. Their love of running, their positivity, their integrity, their determination to use running as a way to fight SMA and inspire others to get involved is truly contagious. Their individual force motivates us and inspires us constantly…so combined…well, we are certain they are a force to be reckoned with! We only wish we could join them!
Way to Go Lauren, Stephen, and Magda. You guys are amazing!!! Thank you for all you are doing to fight SMA!!!
