Oh these two girls…they are just too much!Gwendolyn and Hayden just love each other and we were so excited to spend the weekend at Hayden's house — a three day slumber party filled with fun, fun, fun!
The Calafiores live about four hours north of us in Central California. They are surrounded by rolling hills and have neighbors with horses and cows and goats, which Gwendolyn thought was the coolest thing on the planet and Hayden was so proud to show her. But that was just the beginning of the fun. We got to see Hayden's new special Tinkerbell room (with glow in the dark paint!). They got to wear matching outfits, wear matching PJs when it was bedtime and even dress their bears in matching ensembles! They had a nail salon party (complete with press on long nails) and a hair salon party with, of course, matching braids. They “jumped” on the bed together, went on walks together, held hands — a lot, played house, shared stories, and opened lots of presents. And something that gets me all choked up just thinking about — they got to take a nap together, side by side, in Hayden's big girl bed — just two little girls doing a typical little girl thing. They thought this was the best thing ever — and just like excited little girls do, they talked and talked and wouldn't sleep 
until finally dozing off cooing.
We had so much fun watching the girls be so darn happy. And, along with their friends and family, we got to celebrate Chris and Jennifer's wedding anniversary at a special dinner in their honor — and we were so honored to celebrate such a wonderful couple. Thank you Jennifer and Chris for such a memorable weekend!!! We can't wait to see you again soon
