The inspiring Jadons Hope and Climb4SMA are at it again! As ifclimbing the 23,000 foot Mt. Aconcagua and raising over $45,000 for theGSFs $200K For SMA fundraising campaign wasnt impressive enough, Jim Baker decided to create a team of climbers to tackle the famous Mt. Rainier in Washington. And it was an incredible journey indeed!
Jim was joined by four other men for the challenging alpine ascent:Tucker Trotter,Justin Wood,Garrett Ochs, andBill Spillar. And to add to the amazingness, these four men were not climbers before. This was the first “serious” climb for any of them and they did it to help end this brutal disease in honor of beautiful and brave Jadon Burks.
On June 22, in record snow, the Climb4SMA team reached the Mt. Rainier summit. All 14,411 feet of it. Simply incredible. Thank you gentlemen for taking the SMA fight to a new height. You are an inspiration.
