Kids helping kids. We LOVE it!
Ossining High School in Westchester County, New York recently created an awesome and creative fundraiser with the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation as beneficiary. And we are so excited to be involved. During Spirit Week students with the Power of Peace club created a charity event called “Change for a Cure”. Each grade competed to raise the most money for theGSF. The grade that raised the MOST money got to keep their jug to put toward their Senior Prom. The remaining three jugs were combined and donated to the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation.Everybody wins. Love it. The results were announced at a school-wide PEP rally and energy was high.

I am very happy to inform you that a grand total of $541 was raised today at Ossining High School. Since the Class of 2012 raised the most money, they will receive $205.05 that will be put toward their Senior Prom. That leaves $335.95 to be donated to The Gwendolyn Strong Foundation.
Way to go Ossining High! You guys totally rock. Thank you for supporting our mission to end SMA and we are so glad you had fun in the process!
