Last year I ran She.is.beautiful alongside a group of Team GSF friends. For many of us, this was our first race. It was my first 10K. In fact, up to that point I'd never run that far in my life. Whether it was the gorgeous ocean view course along Butterfly Beach or the sea of women all clad in pink or perhaps the positivity of the spectators cheering us on — this was an incredible race!!! It boosted my confidence about running the Santa Barbara Half Marathon. I actually had FUN while I was running. It empowered me. And it seemed to do that for everyone there.
This is the perfect race to dip your toe in and be part of Team GSF. If you have never run a race before — She.is.beautiful takes all the intimidation out of it. Go for it!
