Santa Barbara Get your palate ready! This years MDA Winter Wine Down is only a few weeks away!!!
We are so excited about the 2011 Winter Wine Down. Firstly because last year was SO, SO much fun! Secondly, we are beyond thrilled that the Santa Barbara MDA decided to dedicate 100% of ALL proceeds of this years event to Spinal Muscular Atrophy research!!! Yes, ALL for SMA!!! And you know how we feel about ending SMA so “thrilled” is an understatement!
We always love fundraisers that are positive, fun, and are helping to reach new people and the 2011 Winter Wine Down definitely does all of this. For the first time it is being held right in the middle of downtown Santa Barbara at Alameda Park. There are over 20 wineries, a few breweries, and lots of restaurants hosting tasting booths. And for all you epicureans, the restaurants and caterers will be competing in a culinary contest and YOU get to help determine the winners. And with over 50+ silent auction items and a wine pull, you are bound to come away with a prize yourself. It is a day of fun, mingling, tasting and you dont want to miss it.
