On the eve of Gwendolyn's 1st birthday, things are looking much, much,
much brighter in the Strong home. Gwendolyn started to perk up
yesterday evening and this morning she woke up bright and breezy and
ready to take on the world — or at least enthusiastically ready for
some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 
We took her to see her pediatrician for
a check-up before the weekend and he was pleased and relieved with her
spirit and more importantly the sound of her lungs; they were moving
air strongly and freely again. We are breathing a huge sigh of relief
and looking very much forward to spending a wonderful day together
tomorrow celebrating Gwendolyn's 1st birthday; after a nervous week,
we are all the more acutely aware of what a precious gift it is and we
plan to cherish every moment..
